About Netcells

Netcells was launched in January 2000 and become a limited company in 2004, as network that pulls together resources to benefit the individual sites of all Users. Our motto "Power to Creative People" says it all.

We share the revenue with people we work with and make our resources available for their personal projects.
There are no deadlines or targets other than the ones you set yourself.

Business involvement models

Here is how you can work with us:

1. model A(ssociate) ( available to anyone ) = one-off commission of 20% for each new client you bring, just as soon as they buy one of our ›Products
2. model P(romoter) ( available to anyone ) = 50% on advertising placed on Netcells front page, all click data are captured
3. model C(yberJob) ( available to any dedicated individual ) = 3 yearly commissions of 50% - 30% - 15% for each new client, as part of the CyberJob - job info on application
4. model D(esigner) ( available to web designers / developers ) = one-off commission of 50% per each ›StartCell new web site launching package
5. model R(eCeller) ( available to web designers / developers / companies ) = if you have 5 or more clients whom you support and get at least 2 new ones each year you get yearly 20% on each hosting account plus your own free site with server management tools (WHM) to manage your clients.

Start your own project as a web developer

We do not employ - if you are not self-driven you might as well stop here.
You can define your own way of working, as long as:

1. you understand and actively support the Netcells idea of global creative collaboration
2. you use our sites and the User Zone yourself, on regular basis, so that you are familiar with its workings

In addition to our system of percentages, as described above, we have a simple system of working with Programmers (those are the people who can program or implement code ;-)

1. agree your hourly Rate and your Allocation (that is the maximum amount Netcells can pay you in any given month)
   
2. pick from the list the Tasks you wish to deal with, then set an anticipated Time and a Completion Date for each Task
   
3. you carry out Tasks, communicating and modifying, as needed - each Task is evaluated on completion
   
4. once the sum total of all completed Tasks has reached your Allocation figure you give us an Invoice - paid in 14 days

Net(work) gains for the Client and the Developer

Client advantages

• Ability to update site(s) at any time, plus access to affordable custom programming
• One-stop service - from hosting/domain name management to site development/design
• Long term continuity- this comes from dealing with a network, not a person
• Personal support and a human-friendly communication line, minimal administration
• Free database access and data management tools in the User Zone (NUZ)
• Increase in visibility and traffic, superior server speed and data security

Developer advantages

• We have a broad User base (300+), good for testing, but also a steady supply of work.
• No-stress working environment, you can pace your projects as it suits you.
• The company offers some legal protection - in practical terms - getting paid is easier.

The main gain for both the Client and the Developer is, of course, having our own network with full control and access to the data, plus an ability to change things when and how we like.

Technology

Our powerful dedicated Linux server is based in US, with good technical support, we found nothing in Europe that comes close.
The User sites and the Developer/Reseller multi-sites accounts are managed via the industry-standard interface (cPanel and Web Host Manager, respectively), we have RAID disk mirroring, plenty of RAM and disk space, we upgrade as the needs dictate. Most coding is in php and MySQL but most other developer tools are also available on the server, we have, of course, the root access, although that is not normally given to Developers, ssh access can be enabled on each account.
We use a php programming framework (CodeIgniter), which works very well.
Our online payment system works in three currencies - USD, EUR, GBP - payments remain in the original currency.
