Lounge of the Janfusun Prince Hotel, Taiwan
This was a project completed in 2005 for the Janfusun Prince Hotel in Taiwan. The panel is made up of 42 pieces and is a total of a massive 7 metres high. It is a major focus in the lobby of this high profile luxury hotel. There are other carvings by Ongky and a group of four other carvers in the spa, gardens and other lounges and restaurants in the hotel. Pieces like this of any size can be custom ordered, but do need to be installed professionally. Ongky and four other carvers traveled to Taiwan to install this piece.
