Our lives are intense - machines make sure of that. Most people find it hard to see, to plan ahead more than a week or two.
But, if you cannot see ahead make sure at least you can see backwards - the information you keep adds up, access to your past can prove very useful, as well as entertaining. And, in business, information is your lifeblood, with time you can see patterns, evaluate your decisions.
The data you give away in exchange for 'free' services are not yours anymore.
Nothing in the Internet is static - continuity, regularity, repeatability of information is what counts - a site you cannot update at any time you like is missing the whole point of being there.
